Restorative Resolution
SARP offers Restorative Resolutions to build community, promote healing and work toward repair. These offerings are separate from the accountability process and can be requested by students, staff, faculty, student organizations and other community members.
SARP encourages proactive measures to build community and strengthen our collective capacity to navigate conflict when it may occur. Although many reports made to our office include possible policy violations, there may be instances where a policy violation does not occur. Individuals or groups may still want to seek support in resolving conflict.
Our office utilizes Restorative Practices both within and outside of the accountability process. These individuals or groups can request a Restorative Resolution to navigate conflict with SARP's support. Individuals or groups looking to engage in community building can request SARP's support in this work.
